Director, Product Marketing, Riverbed Technology

Kavitha Mariappan is currently the Director of Product Marketing for the Stingray product line at Riverbed Technology, where she specializes on virtualization, application performance and cloud technologies. Her previous professional experience includes roles at NVIDIA where she was responsible for marketing and product management of GPU computing products for the High Performance Computing segment, and at Cisco Systems, Inc. where she held various engineering management, businessdevelopment and product management roles, including leading the cross-domain Corporate Development technology team responsible for technical and open source diligence for Cisco's acquisitions and direct investments. Kavitha has a B. Eng. in Communication Engineering from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia.
