Tom brings 16+ years of engineering development experience, most recently from Cisco where he was driving Cisco's ONE (SDN/OnePK/OpenFlow) initiatives. Prior to that, he led engineering for Cisco's WAN Optimization portfolio. Tom also drove engineering for Cisco's Ethernet-over-Optical products via Cisco's Cerent acquisition. He began his career at HP working on software for the early ProCurve switches. Tom has four issued U.S. patents and two pending.

Tom has a B.S. in Computer Science from California State University Chico.
